Whew! That was a tremendous race. Slick snow and mud and a battle from beginning to end. Amazing that Mourey stuck it out as long as he did, considering the lead he had early on. I think Meeusen was as shocked as anyone with his win. When Pawels took off I thought he'd made the move, but Nys reeled him in. Then I thought he was going to get it, but Mourey and Meeusen came back. Very fun to see an all out skirmish to the finish.
